CAUGHT on CAMERA!! Cops Threaten Woman for Filming Their Money-Making Racket!!

This is EXACTLY where socialism leads...the socialist governments need money, but, they have driven off all corporations and companies....so, they resort to taxes, tariffs and fines. When that doesn't work...they generate the crimes to make the fines....all the while putting people like the police officers in the "only following orders" mode...just like it always has occurred...Hitler, Stalin, Mao, etc.

Maybe, Chip, on saving lives. That part I do not know for sure. However, I have seen plenty of times at night people walking on semi to very busy roadways wearing up to all black and walking slowly apparently wanting to be hit by one or more vehicles. I am not saying your argument is invalid, Chip, but apparently not everyone wants to be saved.

There are an apparently large number of suiciders out there, legitimately stupid people who will get into your way when you most likely can not stop in time, and those who will do everything they can to scam the living daylights out of you. Such as people who deliberately get hit by your vehicle and successfully win quite alot of money off of you with amazing ease in court... assuming you have no operational dashcam on your dashboard in your vehicle that recorded this BS. All I am saying, Chip, is there are no easy answers about this stuff.

DHS should conduct sting operation in which they video record cops in situations like this and if they attempt to stop lawful video recording they should be arrested

I didn't think in this case the cops interaction with the woman recording was inappropriate under the theory that her behavior was interfering with their effort to catch drivers who refuse to stop for pedestrians in the cross walk

But the woman recording is right - this is to fill the coffers of the city fund and nothing more.

The woman crossing the street isn't doing it in a safe manner, she is stepping out in front of moving vehicles.

if it were up to me everyones position would be tracked constantly and kept in a central database and everything you do and say recorded -- while you have every constitutional right and freedom protected

Tell that to all of the cop victims who were shot, beaten, killed, and/or up to vastly worse by the cops because the cops planted one or more drugs and/or outright lied to their fellow officers, AC. Ever since cops had to begin wearing those body cams more than ever it's caught on their body cameras and/or other people's cameras that so many cops are some of the biggest power tripping bullies and/or outright uniformed criminals.
