So you're touting a fund that has a whopping $5,000,000 in assets and has either purchased puts or did short sales on a few US Treasury bonds.

A fund that since inception has lost something in excess of 3% per annum while a passive investment in the S&P 500 over the same time would have produced in excess of a 13% return.

Let's do 3 years of math:

1,000 x 1.13 = $1,130
$1,130 x 1.13 = $1,277
$1,277 x 1.13 = $1,443

That's unmanaged money which would have no real expense associated with it.

Now the "WisdomTree" fund, and that name has to be taken with more than a grain of salt.

$1,000 x .97 = $970
$970 x .97 = $941
$941 x .97 = $913

So the choice is "would I rather turn my $1,000 into $1,443
or would I rather turn it into $913?"
