Have you ever meet a serial killer or murderer, who was it an what happened?

I caught a ride with a man,(As a fifteen year old runaway),thought it was innocent as he had a baby seat in the back.
Soon as I got in,he tried to put his hand on my leg.
I told him I wasn't like that.
He began telling me how bad his ex was.
I asked for a drink of water,he tried to get me to get it from a park.
I thought Hell no!
I told him how bad my Mom had did my Dad,(not a lie),and how I was trying to find him again.
He looked at me differently after that.
Soon after,he dropped me off.

Sort of, I used to play a stick figure rpg and there were several public chat rooms in the game we used to hang out in.
Well there was a regular whom we all knew and had been chatting with for months. Friendly didn't sense anything off at all.
One day a dude was arrested for torturing and killing some children and we pieced together whom it was.
The ducked up part was we had all been chatting in the room the night before his arrest, while he still had the kid in a plastic tote in his closet before he did the deed.

Fred and Mary West were my landlords in Gloucester England during the early 1980s. They owned a number of properties and my then wife and I lived in the Midland Road one, while waiting for our house to be built in Tufley.

I recall he was a short greasey (nervous) little man with a trilby hat. His wife was a frumpy woman who seemed a little dizzy; she didn't talk much.

When I was in prison back in 1991, my cellmate was a murderer and serial rapist. He's serving a life sentence now for a violent home invasion and rape he committed in the late 90s after being released from prison for his previous crimes.

It appears he was a subchief in a well known street gang or something. He was kind of funny in that the world consisted of only two types of people, pimps or hoes.

I also had a second roommate who was in for a couple of murders. He claimed to be a hit man and he was serving time for the stuff he got caught for, not everything he did. He was kind of boring, a loner.

it was hilarious that I had to live with those guys, as I was in for cashing some bad checks when at college. I rememeber thinking... you fucking assholes in administration couldn't room me with a car thief or drug dealer, WTF?

anyhow, everything worked out fine for me.

No serial killers, but spent time with a few murderers. A female that killed a family member that was dying of cancer. A gangster that robbed and killed a pair of bikers. A guy that choked his wife to death after she allegedly hit him with a lamp. Know a few others that allegedly got away with some weird shit, too.

Worked for a guy long ago who confessed he killed someone but they would never find the body.

Was in jail with someone who had just killed someome. Jesus forgave him of his sins, brought me to tears the mercy of God.

Know a guy who beat a guy who died in the hospital. I think he's killed other people.

Met a guy who confessed he killed a pedophile, he did jail time long ago, like 10 years or less.

Pretty sure I have met a lot of murderers on the streets during ministry.

Chased by Ivan Milat one night.When it all came out I was certain it was him.Overtaking hitting with high beam.Me doing the same.Then he tried to run us off the road.Pointed a gun out window.A long way to next major town and a lonely road and FIRST time I travelled without a rifle.
High speed the whole way until we came into Goulburn and he took off.When it all came out knew it was him.All the details added up.But that night there was definitely 2 of them and they all reckon Ivan worked alone.

The murderers I've met were pathetic people.

My girlfriend had a passing acquaintance with somebody who murdered dozens. Àpparently he didn't stand out.

I gave a ride a convicted felon just paroled from prison for robbery and aggravated assault...he ended up kidnapping and murdering some woman he came across in about the same area where I dropped him off.

This bloke lived just up the road from me, saw him almost every day too, but we did not know each other.

That is really scary I just read the Wikipedia on that case. The fact that shit like that goes on is insane.

I met a fugitive who escaped a KY prison. He had a life sentence for murder and escaping one other time.
I was only 13 or 14 and he came to my friends house. He had been a friend to her family I guess. I didn't know about the murder thing till late that night.
People started bringing whiskey and alcohol and weed. We all partied, even at a young age but that night I drank the prison guy under the table during a drinking game. He told me everything after that.
I got kind of mad at my friend for not telling me and was way past curfew so I decided to pull the fire alarm in the Apts we were at. I did. Everyone came out, angry of course. Cops came and put me in the back seat of his cruiser. My mom had to come get me. She punched me all the way home until another cop showed up to make sure I was getting beaten...Im sure. She hit me so hard I had to warn her my pain threshold had been breached and she wad about to get hit back. She stopped.

Never even got to tell her about the murderer. They got him. He wrote me a letter from prison with a beautiful picture of a castle with a princess and a unicorn. I didn't write him back and assume he is dead now.

Peter sutcliffe (the yorkshire ripper) when he was a grave digger he dug and buried my uncle. When it all came out about it we was shocked because we remembered his face.

I met Altemio Sanchez known as the Bike Path Rapist. Met him once at a wedding. We called him taco man. He brought a taco dish. I had some. I hope it was beef.

Yes. 2 serial killers. My father hired Ken Bianchi as a Security Guard. My dad, who was a great judge of character really felt duped because he really liked him., Lee Boyd Malvo was the second. My town has a local watering hole that is infamous as a serial killer hang out. Bundy, Bianchi and quite a few more....
