I just looked it up and I guess Prince William is the next in line after Prince Charles. I don't know much about Prince William, but I'm glad he's not the one married to Meghan Markle, she's a nutcase. I honestly don't know how much the change of throne will actually affect anything over there, how much power does the throne even have?

This is just to take the focus off of Andrew. The Queen has already assigned her lesser duties to family. Charles can be seen as training for the eventual takeover. It doesn't really change anything.

I'm not British, I am Gaelic, from Ireland. Perhaps I'm wrong, yet from what I understand, Prince William being 2nd in succession, his mother Princess Diana's bloodline would give the Duke of Cambridge (Prince William) a stronger claim to the throne than his father, Prince Charles.
