I’m a PlayStation person, my father was and is big into Nintendo games and before that it was a Atari, and he also plays on PlayStation.

Save your money until the new consoles come out next year

PS5 is coming out in 2020 and will have backwards compatibility with PS4 games (at least). Maybe wait until then.

Playstation use to have free multiplayer. But Xbox has better games.

Every xbox-one controller purchased by my family in the past year has had a defective headset jack. Customer service is a joke, best action they can think of, is to stop answering emails.

Everyone says they're going playstation next time.

You could hear it all the time, people playing online and trying to make their microphones work. Lots of static and choppy voices, if they could get them to work at all.

buy a used graphics card for 350, same price for the PS4 and Xbox but you'll be garuanteed 1080p 60fps ultra settings on all current titles. That's something consoles can't do with all games. If 1080p doesn't float your boat 1440p at 60 will be possible with high settings or you can do 4k 30 high settings which Xbox x can't do. Xbox x is medium and a few high settings at 4k and sometimes can't keep a stable 30 fps.
