If it were just numbers, then elections would be a battle between New York City and California. The less dense states would not have a voice in elections. Over time that will degrade many necessary communities, farms and manufacturing towns.

Actually the way it is supposed to work is electoral votes are supposed to be proportional to the population of the state, the bigger the population the more electoral votes. If a candidate wins the state he gets all of the electoral votes, but it should never allow the loser in an election to "win".

The flaw is of course that the number of electoral votes is NOT proportional to the population of the smaller states any more, because if it were it would be impossible for someone to get 47% of the vote and win against another who got 53%. no it was never supposed to work that way, and it is you suggesting some people votes shouldn't count.

I'm not a Clinton supporter but i definitely think we'd have been better off with the republican party united against common enemy instead of divided by this Marxist RINO.
