In the last 3 weeks it has turned itself on at different times. 11pm, midnight, 5 am, and once during the afternoon when we weren’t home. I live in a secluded rural area, so it’s not a neighbor doing anything to cause it. What gives? I had a massive Sony TV that used to do that same thing. It's probably just some intermittent malfunction in the electronics. They're all set up to be turned on/off by remote control. Probably electricity leaking into that circuit from a capacitor or something sending a false positive. Check with the manufacturer - probably still under warranty. Could be something in your home too that operates on the same wavelength as your remote. |
