The best would be to stop having this aggressive hawkish foreign policy - by all means focus on its own defense if it wants, but needs stop acting like it is the unilateral [always on the good side of history] world police.

I believe the US wouldn't even need too much defense spending if it stopped destroying / bombing other nations and meddling in their affairs, creating these failed states full of power voids, which builds up all the hatred.

Put this into your minds, break the brainwashing that has been set up by your warmongering elites - no one hates the US or the American people just for existing or for its values / way of living - there are other nations in the world living with the exact or very similar principles which are not hated nearly as much - this hate stems from the military doctrine the US has pursued for a long time now and for its actions on the international stage.

Shut down all foreign military bases and stop with the occupations, start focusing your military doctrine on strategic weapons like the other superpowers do and there will be no more hatred. The "terrorists" will kill each other in their own territory without any impact on the US.
