My parents just got ran over by a car (update) they're ok minor injuries n bruises with a mild concussion

May your parents heal quickly from any and all injuries/trauma from this event, whether they be: physical, mental, emotional or spiritual.

In times like this....we should realize how lucky we are to have American medicine, American doctors and American EMT/ambulance/rescue

Ok got an update! My mom is ok has few bruises n shes sore on her back. My dad hurted his knee n has a mild concussion.

The guy stopped after he hitting them almost a block after accident when he realized he hitted them my mom said. They were crossing a street and guy turned n didnt see my parents in time n hitted them

They'll be home maybe tonight or tomorrow! So nothing major thank god! Thank you all for love n prayers I love you all

They still now got just file a police report for hospital

There's a saying, "What came for your head just took your hat instead." Although they went through a bad experience, all in all it looks like this has turned out okay.

Watch out for depression signs in them, which can be caused by a stressful experience. The hospital can give you referrals for counseling if they want, and it may be covered under insurance. If not, at least make sure they get to talk to someone they trust, just to get the feelings aired out.

I saw this happen once. Crazy shit happening right out of the blue. It is hard to stay safe with so many freaks out there. Old folks need to be specially careful.

Your parents will start getting contacted immediately by lawyers and the insurance company.

Do not settle anything with the insurance co. before they get a lawyer of their choice. Very important.

In fact, have them decline a statement to the car owner's insurance company until they speak to their lawyer.
