That was a good breakdown, and I don't have any reason to doubt you. Someone came in here a while back and explained specificity and sensitivity to us like we were five years old (per someone else's request), and it was clear to me that the tests were mostly BS.

What's not BS, though, is hospitalizations. That's really all I care about as far as numbers go, as it should be the main goal to prevent hospitals from becoming overwhelmed. (Not that I don't appreciate all the number-tards working hard to collect and understand the data.)

From what I’ve seen, the standard protocol for anticoagulant therapy in COVID-19 cases is to use an anticoagulant from the direct oral anticoagulant class (DOAC) such as rivaroxaban, apixaban or dabigatran. There are injectables that can also be used, such as fondaparinux and dalteparin, etc., but these are older meds and may not be quite as effective as the DOAC meds.

Rivaroxaban and apixaban also have reversal agents available in the event of excessive anticoagulation or bleeding, while the injectables do not, even though there are drugs and protocols that can be used to reverse the anticoagulation of those agents.

Nah, despite his claim, he does not understand how PCR testing works. Nucleic Acid Amplification cannot amplify what is not there, they test for the presence of specific DNA strands only found in SarS-nCoV-2 by making them replicate, so if the virus is not present the result is negative unless it's added via outside pollutant. You cannot compare lab tests to your standard pregnancy test kit or even antibody testing kits.

Secondly in his example he forgoes sensitivity completely (False negatives), which is actually a much bigger problem. False-negatives are much more likely, sensitivity is about 80-95% depending on the lab, and it's a main reason we don't pool tests because it goes down quickly. But he makes a good point, just to be sure we should test everyone that goes for a test three times over a three day period at three different sampling sites and using three different labs just to make sure. Would weed out any false-positives from procedure and reduces risk of false-negatives getting through and spreading the disease.

The change in death rate is mostly because of people being more aware, quicker medical intervention and better symptom management.

That's a great analysis Bravo, but there are places like New York that are down to less than 1% positivity rate right now.

I know the antibody tests cause huge problems like you stated due to their accuracy, but it seems the PCR tests are better than you suggest. One region in my link below shows 0.2% positivity.
