We would have pts come to the ER because they were extremely anemic and need blood transfusion, have low or high potassium, sodium, etc. The doctor's office would call them and tell them to go to ER for admission and we'd start their treatment until their bed was ready. I can't tell you how many times I've given blood to people who should be unconscious/dead whose abnormal labs were found when the clinic did labs.

You know it would be easy to get lost in the darkness if not for some friends shining a light...

Hi! I'm doing well. Trying to balance life outside vs GLP while the numbers are low here. The hurricane has caused some cooler weather between showers and it's actually nice to sit outside in August HA! We certainly dodged a bullet in MS.

Tomorrow is the 15th anniversary of Katrina. Bringing up memories that I had forgotten about. Now there are 2 more storms headed on the same paths as Laura and Marco. All eyes on the tropics!!
