How many would norm be in a phase 2 trial before going to phase 3

That’s a damn good question..... given this vaccine..... not an extremely large number.... but a more diverse sample.... but that 45.... wow. Tripped me out.

I get all those things from a tetanus booster..... but I will suck it up and get that booster.

However..... that has generations behind it. It’s just like the rule of technology..... you don’t buy something for a few generations. Let them sort out the kinks.

Only 1 as a child nearly killed me and i turned blue. Other than that no issues

Phase 1 trails are basically just to make sure that people don't randomly drop dead from the vaccine, you give it to healthy young people to minimize worst case scenario's.

Phase 2 expands this to target audience, which in this case is everyone and only at Phase 3 do you step away from the close monitoring of all participants and focus on if it helps to get less people infected.

We've been doing Phase 1's pretty quickly and generally skipping phase 2 as a separate stage combining it with 1 and 3. It's just more monitoring of participants really.

Next Saturday, six days from now, the 10 day Wisconsin deer season commences.

Estimates have been that the 500,000-600,000 people taking to the woods represent the second or third largest “army” in the world for those ten days. Harvest of deer is typically in the 225,000-260,000 range.

The venison represents a lot of meat to families that depend on it for protein through the year.

If we DON’T reduce the population they absolutely devastate crops and if it’s a hard winter with deep snow and below average temperatures the level of suffering and starvation in the herd is significant.

This half a million strong group will cluster in sporting goods stores, grocery stores, restaurants, and of course the bars.

With all the attendant issues we can expect.

It’s a no win/no win situation in all likelihood.

I guess we’ll see what happens to incidence rates in the Badger state between December 1st and December 15th.
