Could there be two separate viruses, one released in Sep-Nov within the US/Europe with minimal time to spread globally and the second in China intended to go global? Those who were sick in Sep are either super carriers or die?

You can't. Not in a true EOTWAWKI situation. You have limited resources for you and your family. You have limited capability to replenish those resources. You have no support structure from law enforcement or government. And you have to figure out how to keep your family alive long-term when you only have a couple of years worth of preps (if you're lucky). Not to mention you have to consider the possibility that the starving kid is a trap designed to lure you out into the open.

So, yes, I would allow a kid to starve. To do otherwise compromises the security of my family. Survival isn't just about stockpiling food, water and ammunition. It's a mindset that allows you to make difficult decisions that you would never make under normal circumstances. If you are unable to make those difficult choices, all the preps in the world will not save you.

A friend texted. Said he was talking to someone who has family in Sweden. Apparently their approach is to only keep the elderly at home. The premise being if they are separated they will be safe and everyone else is get the virus and create herd immunity.

Sounds dumb to me.

at the press conference today, birx was talking up washington state and california, that those 2 states are successfully beating the spread of the virus, as if to say those people are better at social distancing than people in other states

May I throw this in too. There are some posters that rely on prôxy sites to post from work or to keep association with a conspiracy site to themselves........when a repetitive poster uses them for malice quite often entire host sites get banned.

But you are taking one case and claiming it's a solution that will work for anyone. Technically you would have needed a second child, also sick, as a control group to whom you did NOT give vitamin C. If that child died, you would have anecdotal evidence of your claim.

Next comes reproduction of the same results under controlled conditions. Other parents would have to give one child vitamin C but not the other one. If all families involved get the same results as you (child with vitamin C recovered; child without vitamin C dead), then you might have a case to make.

Please Google "scientific principle" and read up on it. While you're at it you might want to Google the term "fool" and see to whom it really applies.

The focus should not be on ventilators which just prolong deaths. It should be on pharmaceuticals that can reduce viral load, mitigate cytokine storms, and/or provide effective prophylaxis. Vaccine is a red herring.
