When this first starting going big back in Jan/Feb every instinct I had was telling me this was going to be/become a brain thing.

Been watching the craziness of the world as its played out.

In general, the world is going full retard, but much of this is likely just natural response to a society well past its sell by date, and a instinctive human response to centuries of oppressive rule (in the sense of constant petty laws taking our freedoms).

But none the less, I watch for extra craziness, and in general it seems to be there.

I have long said the "zombie apocalypse" won't be the undead rising from the grave (this is stupid as the body has already decomposed)

It will be something affecting the brain, in a sort of parasitic "toxiplasmosis" way, shutting down the higher cognitive reasoning facilities and inflaming the more feral lower function part of the brain, causing a sort of mindless violent zombie action (but still human, no bs like only a head shot will kill them, they injure and die like any human)

I found the toxiplasmosis comparison thread very interesting too.

We'll watch and see how it plays out.

Yep. Same here. What it does to the entire body is beyond horrific.

When I first brought this up long long ago as an AC on this thread most posters made fun of my observation. Now we’ve all seen it play out.

It’s going to be about pigs according to the dream I had maybe 20 years ago. I was actually most surprised about this whole thing that it started with bats. Maybe, though, my nightmare started on chapter two.
