guess i was being too generalized withthe question.

the US power grid and infrastructure are outdated and on edge now. will it hold up? granted this isn't an EMP,but does depend on specialist workers to even function. the division of ppl, many talk CW due to the riots. will things get so bad to cause a revolution? will it collapse the fed govern and/or states?

look at all the technology inventions of the last 100 years and 200 years. how much will we lose of our civilized lifestyles? we will not fall all the way back to bow and arrows or cavemen,but where is the line from which we will try to rebuild? or are we at a full ELE and CEE? even the AMISH use tools from the industrial era-steel,tin,iron.

where this matters is the populations that the world nations have could not exist without much of the prgoress of the last century or 2. the JIT delivery system doesn't just allow food to travel to cities. it also impacts the water, power,medical, and functioning of rural towns.

I would actually believe that at this point. ;)

Store worker pepper sprays customer who allegedly got violent after refusing to wear mask

A confrontation inside of a Ralphs grocery store in the Mid-Wilshire section of Los Angeles turned hostile after a man refused to wear a face covering, CBS Los Angeles reports. Witnesses said a store employee told the man he had to wear a face covering or leave the store, as required by Los Angeles County as part of efforts to curtail the spread of the coronavirus.

That's when he started allegedly started ramming a woman with a shopping cart. A worker then used pepper spray to incapacitate the man and called the police.

I have been reading this thread since the beginning. Can't say I've read every post but I check it daily. I have learned a lot and prepped as much as I could. Still doing it, little by little. Thank you to all posters!

I have a question. My mom has been exposed at work, tested and is positive. Is asymptomatic. Here's the issue. She was tested 7/7 but didn't get results until 7/15. So I have been exposed along with my 5yo kid. I have minor symptoms that I thought were allergies. My kid had runny nose last week. No fever, oxygen saturation is great. Should my mom stay in her room? Do I need to limit exposure?

Part of me says I probably have it already, go on without additional precautions for us but quarantine still and limit exposure outside. What do you think? If my mom hasn't had symptoms do you think she may in the future?? The weird thing is, she's diabetic. Super Controlled though.

I have some grandkid intel. Cedar Point, an amusement park here on the lake in Ohio, has upwards of 30 kids working there that have tested positive. The majority are foreign 20 somethings. CP has only publicly admitted to 3 and that they had never worked in the park. It just opened last weekend.

The kids are housed in several places. Some are like dorm rooms on the property, some apartments in town. Now, I'm wondering about the hotels in town with water parks. They hire J-1's too. Don't know any grandkids working the hotels anymore, my husband retired a couple of years ago.

We are NOT going. Thankfully, CP said they will honor the passes we bought next year.

Btw, Cedar Faire is also the parent company of Knott's Berry Farm and Schlitterbahn.

I don't have a crystal ball nor am I a remote viewer however, my gut feeling is the 70% or so of the population currently living their life on normalcy bias mode will snap in one way or another come mid-October.

These communal immigrant worker houses is what's leading to a ton of these outbreaks, the only outbreaks I'm aware of in the power generation industry are among contractors which use immigrant labor.

I don't believe for one second Texas, or any other state, has "peaked." Eventually, you just max out your testing capacity, at which point the numbers flatline, mimicking a "peak."

A few of my friends are getting together to tube down the river like tradition. They are not closed circles, everyone I know going has been to restaurants or are bringing people that don't believe it, kids who have been in daycare...

To be honest I am jealous they can continue like this. It would be great to laugh and see people and enjoy a drunken good time down the river in my ignorant bliss.
