I have no interest in taking it up with the authors, I see 20 papers a day that are useless, this exists in every field. people submit papers for all sorts of reasons, and the quantity is astounding, the academic system pretty much requires people to be paper mills, add that to the fact of notoriety and being seen during a major media event.. and this crap is all over.
