In life I'm often the mediator (as lower management aka supes) between the customer and management and I often bring that to GLP trying to be the karmaic middle. You really do need to sleep. Let your brain sort through chemicals and all that good stuff. Have you had too much caffeine? That makes me a little crazy: nerves frayed, hyper aware, thinking I'm too tired to sleep when actually that is exactly what I need. Stress, lack of sleep, and caffeine drain the adrenals -- and it's hard to build back up (especially if you're faced with more of the same every day or every few days). OP, you could consider an adrenal support supplement. I get one from vitacost because they filter out some of the junk stuff, they are vastly cheaper than Whole Foods, they deliver quickly, and my money is not going to amazon. Just a suggestion, not medical advice. There are medical tests to check your levels of various body chemicals and hormones, if you're concerned. Another little trick I like to do to help detox after too much caffeine: A hot bath (as hot as you can stand without hurting yourself) with a cup or two of epsom salts, and you must stay in for 20 minutes, no cheating. Having cool drinking water available at all times. It feels great at first, but you'll start to sweat around 8 minutes, and at 12 minutes you will be checking the clock and cursing me for suggesting it. You will probably continue to sweat when you get out, and maybe be a little woozy, so lie down and rest immediately after, for at least 20 minutes. Hopefully you will fall asleep. Get some sleep! Way too pricey though so I only get a couple a month as "reserves." Quoting: blu 73838626 I drink Mean Bean too. I am curious how much you pay? It ranges from $3.19 (gas station) to $2.15 (Dollar General) here in western lower Michigan. I should only drink one in the morning because I have found that if I drink another one later after dinner it keeps me awake. I question if I should be drinking them at all, but I do like the taste. |
