I will go to my grave owing that money. The stress of that debt is depressing. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77994583 Does anyone else have this issue and how do you deal with it? You got one of 3 choices. 1. Negotiate with them on the amount, get it lowered, and stick to a payment plan. 2. Declare a medical bankruptcy. 3. Do nothing and have your income for the rest of your life garnished, and everything you own taken away by court order to repay the debt. Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!! |

Just tell the Hospital billing office that you are fully covered because the last President said so and if they have an issue with that, tell them that the Supreme Court made it law. YOU are COVERED and should only have paid the Co Pay, which should not be more than 12,000 out of pocket. |

You will only owe the bill until the collection date expires. They will no longer be on your record. Check into how long you have to wait for it to be cleared. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78357191 Right! After 7 years they drop it! |

If you are making payments it stays with you. But if you stop and deny all contact with them, then yes it gets wiped off in 7 years. If they call you in year six and you admit the debt then the seven years starts over again. When my husband died and left me poor and penny less I went off grid and lived a simple and quite life for six years alone on 68 acres. It went by fast and now I’m on Virginia Beach and we’ll off. It’s amazing what faith can do. Faith and prayer |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77994583 Does anyone else have this issue and how do you deal with it? I worked with guy who was 60 and had no health insurance and had heart attack. In hospital they gave him stent and got him back to health. His bill was 60,000 dollar. He said he couldn't pay even though he and wife worked and he had apartment building. The hospital made him bring in all his financial records after reviewing them they totally forgave. His debt. This was before Obama care screw up the health care system for working people. |

We filled out the financially assistance with the hospital and our bill is taken care of and the court case was dismissed. He has more debt with other hospitals as well. Probably pushing 200,000 thousand if not more. I can't keep track of all the medical bills. |

One thing to do is to make sure your children know they do not owe this debt. (At least in most states that's true.) When you die, if you have children the creditors will most certainly contact them and try to cajole them, using smooth trickery, to get them to "pay what they owe." But they don't owe it. Let them know they can throw those messages in the trash and ignore them. . DON'T VAX, PROPHYLAX! ____________ There is no anger in Me: If one offers Me thorns and thistles, I will march to battle against him, And set all of them on fire. But if he holds fast to My refuge, He makes Me his friend; He makes Me his friend. (Isaiah 27:4-5) |

Its called bankruptcy, you will qualify very easy and it wipes the debt clean and in a few years your credit will be back to normal and no more debt to worry about it.. So tomorrow find a BK attorney in your area and he/she will do all the work and put all that stress away.. |

Most people can handle 1000 bucks. Obummercare only covers up to one million each, do people understand that? So it's not much help anyway if you get the big expensive diseases and operations. |

The UK introduced the NHS when it was almost bankrupt after WWII - cos we decided if we could find money to kill Germans we could find a lot let to cure sick people. Some sad stories on here! |
