Quoting: Gami I worked a guy who had an insurance agency/wholesale used car dealer place. The phone on my desk had two lines, one for each business. I answered accordingly. We had almost no insurance customers when I started and I manly helped move used cars my boss bought at auctions. Our office was right next to the airport. It’s a very small airport and was just a couple houses away. Anyway, one day a guy in a little red pick up truck comes in. He smelled too nice and looked to groomed to be from here. Obviously, it was Bill Macy. He flew in and out of the airport and wondered if he could pay to keep his truck in our lot and he’d just walk to the airport. Oh, our agency was in the most run down looking place. It was a single home dwelling he bought and. just opened up a business. He knew the airport would one day take it so he wanted it to be commercial. Makes me laugh now how serious I took that job. I was young. So from then for a few years, Bill would show up or call to say he was coming and we’d talk about his acting gigs. He called me once from California to tell me to watch Kate and Ally (Susan St. James and Jane Curtain) that night because he was on it. In the show one the woman ends up in the hospital. If you can find the episode he pushes a gurney by the door, he’s an orderly. He’s not on for very long. But we were both psyched. We wrote the insurance on his little truck and his place here. He used to invite me to his parties with David Mamet. I was too shy. Felicity is the love of his life....I met her once. She parked her white Honda with us. He almost lost her.... Told me when they got back together he wasn’t letting her go. Then one day he became a super star. His agency called to take over his insurance. I had to have him call me one last time so I could verify he wanted this done. He was always such a sweet awesome down to earth guy and I’m happy he’s doing so good. Their recent issue, I think they handled with class. Which is what I would have expected from them. Hope you enjoyed my little story. I’m sure there are typos. I’m a People far more intelligent than millennials and type with one finger. Cool story! Is this him?
