In about a month I'm due to go to Nanjing for three months. Nanjing is the next province over from Wuhan; I know that city, and it's a bit close for comfort. Thanks to all for your information on this - it really does make a difference to me. From what I've heard so far, the mortality rate is similar to Spanish 'Flu, and that's not counting the people who have just come down with it and won't survive. Mortality rates can only really be calculated after it's all settled down, and I suspect it will be higher than anticipated. If the Chinese authorities are acting so intrusively, then they're rattled. The question is: is it containable?
