I have been a strong proponent of preparedness for many, many years. I just want to advise people of one thing....
STFU about your preps. Period. If TSHTF, there WILL come a point where preppers become hoarders, and the government will come for your stuff...for the greater good. Not to mention desperate people, even close friends, do desperate things.
Just do your thing and hush about it.
Put yourself in a position to help people, but the people you choose, not who the gov't chooses.
Quoting: NawtyBits I second that motion. Bragging about your preps flys directly in the face of OPSEC. At best, your friends and even strangers make you out to be crazy. At worst, everyone knows where to go in a SHTF situation. Keep calm, STFU, and stack it high and deep. LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS.
