So suffice to say it sounds like the CDC knows the spread of the virus is much worse than they're telling us and they're just trying to get ahead of it if it eventually comes out. They hope it doesn't get out to the public at large and they're doing everything they can to censor as much info as possible. But if word does get out to the public, they can say "well, we tried to warn people that public places might have to be closed down."
They're going to lie as much as they can as long as they can until they can't.

Never have I seen the CDC come out and say things they are saying. They are warning us, just in a governmental kind of way. It is obvious what the CDC is doing. By not testing more people or providing tests to hospitals, doctors offices, municipalities etc..they are purposefully ignorant at least that is their public persona. Behind the scenes they are prepping for the worst. I live close to the flight path of a major east coast military base and the amount of air traffic coming into and out of this base is the most I’ve ever seen in the 7 years I’ve lived here. Even middle of the night planes and choppers. They are moving assets fast.
