Every phone conversation since the 1980's has been recorded, so what would having a bug in your home provide them that they dont already know? They know your internet searches, your purchases, your texts, emails, phone calls....what else do you have?

Basically it would boil down to tracing every wire in and out of your home and checking every plug, light fixture, appliance and communication device for surveillance devices.


Then you have to understand there are ways of bugging buildings completely externally, like bouncing a laser beam off of a glass window and demodulating it to listen to any sound originating within the home.


So what you need is a double fenced estate, surrounded by hills and trees and patrolled by guard dogs and people you trust.


Beyond that, you would have to be very high profile to be a candidate for satellite or other highly advanced types of surveillance.

Many years ago I knew of this person. And I didn't know much about him. So at one point I found out he was in a side business of TINY CAMERAS. Spy cams. They were very small.
