If you love Him, you’ll study His Word, and grow in love and caring, and become more like Jesus. But you can add nothing to His free gift of eternal life. Just believe.

The word gospel literally means good news, the good news is that Jesus Christ the son of God came to earth to save us from death and eternal hell and he will if we repent (turn from sin) and accept him as savior.

Ponder on where your soul originated and hopefully you will find the link between us, Jesus, and God. We are magnificent beings, not insignificant and unworthy. Our divinity has been temporary hidden for this test of consciousness on purpose as planned.

God (aka Higher Self, Prime Creator, Creative Source) is intelligent benevolent multi-dimensional energy of pure love that exists everywhere, not in any fixed location.

God made man in "his" image, the image of love.

If you have love in you, you have God in you.

Think hard on why higher consciousness "ascended" worlds have no religious systems.

If Jesus is the only way to God, then what happened to all the people in the previous four civilizations of humanity over the span of 200,000 years before the arrival of Jesus? Did they all go to "Hell"? No, in fact the ancients were much more connected to God and Gaia than many of us are in this modern time.

In this low consciousness immature matrix reality, you have free choice and duality to believe what you want to believe. No judgement. Nonetheless, there are cosmic Truths waiting for you to discover for greater wisdom and maturity.

Do I first need to repent of my sins?

Don't get confused by people who don't have a sound understanding of the gospel message or the Christian faith.

Repentance is an attitude of humility before God that His children will be teachable and humble. When you believe, you should want this kind of heart, and God will grant it to you.

People who suggest the preaching of the gospel should not mention repentance, or suggest repentance is works, are in error.

It starts as an attitude where you are willing to live your life God's way, but in practical terms you also need to follow through with actions (which are empowered by the Holy Spirit).

If there are things in your life which are directly op positional to God's way of doing things, you need to turn from them. Jesus will make the way of escape by giving you power to overcome the temptations, and if you don't turn back to those things He will eventually set you completely free from them.

The apostasy is so far gone as to be complete at this point, the flock is scattered and probably very confused. Don't worry about finding the right church, find the right way to honor God in your life so that you will be ready and awake when He returns to avoid the hour of testing that's coming upon the whole world.

First and foremost: Do you have the right gospel message?

Believe: The only way anyone can have access to Father God is to trust Jesus and His work of the cross for their righteousness. This is called justification. Jesus did what no man could do (walk sinless) and died on a cross for our sins, rose again three days later, and ascended to the right hand of Father God until He returns.

Repent: In simple terms, this means to humble yourself recognizing you cannot live life your way, but we must do things God's way. This starts as an attitude of humility before God's plain word which clarifies what it means to do things God's way, but always continues on in a change of actions on the part of the believer.

But what about things you cannot overcome, addiction sins and the like. Things you know are abhorrent to God? 1 Corinthians 10:13 states that when the temptations come, Jesus will make a way of escape. Call upon His name when the temptations come and He will help you get through it.

Eventually, He will set you free completely from that sin as long as you don't turn back to it and continue to call upon Him. That way, Jesus gets the glory and you get freedom from slavery to sin.

Follow Jesus: Being a Christian means you've got a lot of trouble coming your way from Satan. But let's face it, life is full of trouble, anyhow. The Bible teaches it's better to suffer for righteousness' sake than to suffer for doing what's wrong.

Following Jesus also means "abiding in His word." This means you maintain a high standard for truth and love the truth enough to read the word of God like you eat food (daily, understanding the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth).

Pray regularly, knowing He cares for your every need, but beware of mystism and experiential Christianity. That's the playground the devil has created for unwise believers. God wants you to love the truth, and that's cognitive. Goosebumps, warm fuzzies, or any other physical manifestation is most certainly demonic.

Trust the word of God explicitly, it is the truth (NASB is the best translation available today).

When we stumble or fail, we go boldly to the throne of grace recognizing it's only Jesus' righteousness that has gotten us access to Father God. We wear Jesus' righteousness like a robe, and Father God accepts us because we've put our faith in His only begotten Son.

Being spiritually lazy with a low standard for truth makes you easy pickings for Satan, especially at the end where God's test is whether or not you love the truth. You will surely be counted as a foolish virgin when the Lord returns if you take a haphazard approach to your walk with Jesus. The Bible exhorts us to stay sober, be vigilant, and be on your guard against the schemes of Satan.

This is the true Faith, believing in the ultimate power of God to resolve all things, both the eternal and the temporal. With Jesus there came a new dispensation for the salvation of man and a total defeat for Satan that accused man night and day before God under the old burden of the law. All Satan has done ever since is to try and obscure the simple message that we are saved by belief (Faith) and the actions of the Holy Spirit (Grace) in our lives alone. That's why this is called the Age of Deception, where Satan endeavours to hide the Truth from man.

I see the same posters always coming to these type of threads trying to do the same thing, obscure this simple message.
