Also with it evidently lowering lymphocyte count actively during this, your immune response is not really in benefit from fever but harmed by the fevers effect on your routine and health change itself.

No?

I read the Washington case report and they indicated his fever was medicated the entire time he was in hospital. I know from limited experience that the first thing emergency rooms do with someone who has a fever is give them a fever reducing med. I also know 95%+ of people medicate a fever at home, so I would guess that most people are as a standard of practice reducing their fever during early symptoms.

I question if we have outcomes of unmedicated fever vs medicated fever because I believe most outcomes are with fever medicated at some point at this time.

China is apparently banning the sale of fever reducing meds in some areas. My assumption was that they wanted to make it difficult for citizens to hide their fevers - but perhaps there could be more to it? (Or it could be complete fiction as well- but it merits consideration.)

Also circling back to the patent I linked to previously for Griffithsin - is this or other mannose-bonding lectin containing compounds being considered as possible prevention of severe disease?

Medicating a fever has been monetized by fear, as they should not be medicated until 103.5-104 in all fairness.

The hospitals are most likely using everything possible at this point due to panic. No one can think clearly in that situation really.

MBL is produced by your liver fulltime in minute amounts, but during infections its production is increased. The protein present in ncov is gp120 which is a glycosylated protein, allowing MBL to indentify, bond and perform its job. But it only slows some of the effects as the the virus is not solely gp120 based.
