Your body is the most sick BEFORE you show symptoms. Or to say it more accurately you have the highest viral load before you start to show symptoms. If your body has not taken care of the pathogen by other means it will literally try to expel the pathogen from the body. cough, sneeze, runny nose, etc.

If you have enough free D3 in your blood stream many people will never reach the symptomatic stage (or have very mild symptoms) because when the pathogen enters into the body, the D3 will go to your brain, be encoded with instructions, and rush out the the cells to give them the instructions. Keep in mind that once the D is used up it must be replenished that is why i was suggesting a mega dose at first sign of symptoms (50,000 iu). likely your body needs more D3 to finish of the pathogen.

also D3 regulates cardiac function, so theres that too.

I did not expect this to grow as such.

I hope some of you watched the CDC briefing as thats as close to verification of what I said before it aired withiut risking myself.

Regarding treatments, my colleagues and I are looking at fda approved antivirals, experimental antivirals and past effective treatments on prominent viral outbreaks. If it hasnt been tested or proven, unfortunately we are not looking at it at this time in this specific facility.

Working with the government requires you to follow their rules unfortunately, and to admit a non-approved therapy has effects, is not in their interest.

Speaking on fever. Yes, typically a fever is actually beneficial and should be allowed as it instigates your immune system.

But with 19ncov, it may be aiding in causing a cytokine storm, this is unproven without live data, but is a theory we are bouncing around between colleagues.

Again, this is 100% unproven without further testing, just a hypothesis from a fellow here.

-001: What is the best way to calm the cytokine storm if a person is to contract this nCov? I've read here on GLP that a combo of 3 OTC meds can help the storm, I believe it was antihistamine like Benadryl or related, taken together with OTC Zantac and OTC Prilosec would take care of 3 components of immune response to foreign invader that the lymphocytes are trying to react to. Whats your take on this?

Also, would it be advised once you have a fever to need to also take ibuprofen and acetaminophen?

Sorry if you have already answered this questions, but has AIDS medication been tested against this virus?

At this point i would NOT advise at any fever reduction. (i could be wrong but if i get it i will not attempt to reduce fever) although it is true that fever excites the immune system it also directly effects the viral replication process by slowing its ability to replicate. cytokine storms appear in the presence of high viral loads, so anything that slows the viral load is good. slowing the replication process give your immune system a chance to reduce the viral load, thus prevent the subsequent cytokine storm.
