Do you want to know what the Anomaly/Nobody thing is all about in a non-cryptic way??

Truthfully, all this talk predates GLP by millenia. Since the dawn of the first tribes people are eager for an individual to save them from something, someone, or from themselves. An individual who can carry them to the "next step", whatever it can be in any given context. In many cultures, a set of individuals are groomed for this position. Sometimes they end up in such position by events that are not controlled by anyone, these are probably the cases in which the process carries a lot more sense of legitimacy, making an individual be perceived by his peers as "the hero" or "the chosen one". This kinds of individual tends to be really different from others, from his predecessors, from his society or social groups. Therefore, an anomaly.


At the same time, it is also likely that since the dawn of the first tribes there are people who want to be the one, people who think they are the one. Then there are organized groups who want to stop or control the process of the one's appearance to gain advantage, to gain and/or maintain control. After all, they want to keep on sucking the vital energy and the work of the masses and will try to stop anyone who wants to set them free from bondage.


The arrival of an individual like this is always related to some sort of prophecy. Here at GLP we have seen people relating this hypothesised individual with many characters from various religions. Who could it be? Maybe he is more than one of those individuals whose arrival have been prophecised? If he is real, he could be fulfilling more than one of those prophecies.

Prophecy actually has a lot to do with all this. And they prompt a lot of questions aswell. Why are the prophecies made? To warn people? To wake people up? To make sure the chosen ones find out who they are? To find out who the chosen one is? To make sure society recognizes the chosen one(s)? Can all prophecies be trusted? If a vision is given, by whom is it given and to what purpose?


Well, what we do know is that many prophecies sure end up leading a lot of people into thinking they are the one, or that they know the one, simply because a series of events in their personal life seem to match some sort of prophecy or script. Sometimes it is not even about a prophecy, but some bizarre events unfolding in one's like, making him think something special is going on.


It is safe to say, and religious folks will probably agree, that in the process of awakening one's consciousness a lot of stuff starts to happen. I mean, once you start walking this path certain events will start to unfold in your life and if your head is not in the right place you may end up thinking you are some sort of special chosen figure, when in reality you are just going through a NORMAL process that is supposed to happen to anyone who starts walking that same path. That is to say if you choose to walk the path of righteousness a series of apparently predestined events will happen in some shape or form and they might actually appear prophetic in nature, but that in itself DOES NOT mean that you are THE ONE.

Well, yes, probably the one who is actually the one also goes through this process of awakening. One of the interpretations influenced by the Nobody archetype actually leads us to this preliminary conclusion. This man is a nobody, a simple man like everyone else, until God lifts him up into enlightenment. This process, we may also infer from the "original" nobody thread, is not exactly guaranteed. And that is why so much hangs in the balance. Because this individual needs to intentionally choose the path and walk it. This seem like a fair assumption of chronologic events: The path is shown to the one, then it is chosen by the one, then the one manages to walk through and then he is chosen. Some people even say that this "position" could be assigned to more than one person, should the individual fail. That is to say, this part has to be played and it will be played by someone else if he fails. Sure, there's a lot of assumption here and I'm venting some of what I have seen in the threads around here.

Regarding the above post and the chrono logic.. It is probably safer to say that he is chosen when the path is shown.

It may seem like I wanted to write the best post about the subject to clarify it to everyone, but there are way better posts out there if you're actually able to find them. I didn't put that much effort into this.
