So many dying of diseases over there that they probably can't tell if it's this virus o something else yet. Quoting: Jesus Wept This guy gets it. In Ghana for example, Pneumonia is the number one cause of deaths in under 5s. Flu and pneumonia deaths are vastly underreported there and in 2017 there was a call for a push in obtaining the correct death counts. This is just one example from one country on the continent. Ghana has a pretty decent living standard compared to a few other African nations. It is worth noting though that Africa is the hottest continent on Earth. Meaning it’s possible that Coronavirus does not work in the heat, I can not say with any certainty that it’s not the case but I think there probably have been cases in Africa but as stated in the post I am responding to they would not have the foggiest it was not just normal flu. They probably don’t test for Coronavirus in Senegal. Meanwhile Australia is amongst the hottest places on Earth at the moment and they have more than there fair share of cases. There are vast areas where the test simply won’t be available and by the time outside help arrives it will be too late. One month ago China was at ~800 cases, now its 76,000 (at least). South Korea is very soon to be at 800 known cases so guess where they will be in a month. |

Stop blindly believing everything, man. it's not the heat, its the sun angle and dose of ultraviolet rays that disable viruses when exposed. Thailand is in the upper norther latitudinal tropical zone.. still the angle of the sun has been relatively low there for the last couple of months. This will quickly level off then disappear within a few months. |

I think people who believe that just because Trump said something are a special kind of stupid, though. Because the disease centers say this is not going to die off and will probably be with us for all time, like the seasonal flu. Living in a dream world, Neo! |
