NO ONE has more than a week of groceries...NO ONE could afford to take 2 weeks off of work. AND..NO ONE will sit around while their loved ones are denied hospital beds due to none being available. It will be mass chaos, fear, panic... this is an armed citizenry..and some have no cares except for them and their own. Those folks might use arms to secure hospital beds..(I know..sounds horrible) but some folks have no morals... and won't sit around watching their wife, husband, child die because they can't get a hospital bed. This isn't even taking into account the nurses who will just quit their jobs. Or the hospital laundry, custodians that will also quit their jobs (barely above minimum wage..not worth risking your life)... So no nurses, hospital staff, chaos, fear, unpreparedness. And then you have the fact that there is no way anyone could lock down LA..or New York..or Chicago (oh the looting and crimes would be crazy!) So..not to scare anyone..but geesh...look what we are facing???!!! You are right, it will get very bad. I think our healthcare system will be our downfall. No one has adequate insurance, and we go into work and send kids to school with sniffles, coughs, and runny noses. We think nothing of it. We avoid the doctor because of the cost, so we will not go until we are on death's door. We have lost a sense of community, so we will think nothing of looting, holding others up for food/supplies, driving the wrong way down the road to get out of a big city quarantine. As far as our perception of this situation, we are numb to "real news" because we are pushed drama and lies from every conceivable media organization. So we think-- that won't happen to me, it's slowing down, it's not here- it's a China problem. We don't really truly realize the implications with the supply chain going down. Simply because every need we have has always been met. It might not be the very best, but the majority of us never went hungry, always had a roof over their head, and whatever tiny indulgence we desired. All that will change and very soon. I worry about us all. |

Our government really isn’t much better than China’s when you really think about it. Trump even praised the horrific actions we know China is doing and capable of. Of course the other possibility is that this is the population killer they have been planning for. |
