It's in the middle of the ocean and there are more people living there than there is fresh water to serve them. South west desert area, also. I wouldn't want to live anywhere that I have to rely on the system for basic needs, like food and water. like being on a huge cruise ship |

User ID: 27913933 United States 02/28/2020 05:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Walmart in NorCal was completely out of all sterile gloves and any type of mask. No hand sanitizer besides the stupid little ones you can clip to a bag near the checkout. No high % rubbing alcohol. Only water left was bottles and a few gallons of distilled that were clearly too high to reach on the top shelf. Most OTC painkillers, heartburn meds, allergy meds all gone. Lots of gaps in shelves where canned food and rice were. This was a super-Walmart too. Suburban area near the capitol. Gonna check other places in the area, hoping they’ll have what we need. |

Everyone walking around just getting what they need, nothing more. I did notice Benadryl is sold the F out. I do however, have a bunch of people from my area arguing on Facebook about the need to prep or not to prep. It's actually quite funny. I am glad tho, the sheep are just getting their first cup of coffee and rubbing the sleep out of their eyes. It won't be long now, Walmart will be torn up. All the people that say they don't need to get stuff, will be sneaking to Wally World real soon. I also have a bunch of people saying it's not as bad as the flu. Of course, they fail to realize we have FLU shots, and still a ton of people die. |

Plenty of bleach, TP, sanitizer, etc. there’s even a big sale rack of H2O2 and 91% isopropyl. Lots of hand wipes too. Only saw one girl with a cart full of baby formula, hand sanitizer and wipes. Either she’s a Prepper or she’s got some serious couponing to do. It’s not stopping me from buying plenty of dry foods and other various necessities. |

He looked at my cart and winked. It looked like everyone else's cart was full of the weekly stuff. When you look at the contents of people's carts, it is obvious what poor diets most people have. Anonymous Coward User ID: 76538212 United States 02/28/2020 05:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is my 2nd trip to stock preps. Walmart outside of NE San Antonio (Where they stuck a lot of China travelers from Chine) and nothing looked low except some water, but we drink & cook with distilled anyway and they had plenty. All paper products were full. Some things like canned meat, tune, canned chicken were lightly picked over but not bad. Bought a lot of canned goods. They had no more m95 masks and a few weeks ago they had them on end cap display through out the pharmacy drug area. Where hubby works they wear m95's every day so he got a big box from the boss last month. Walmart did have huge bottles of hand sanitizer for cheap. Were all set now, can hunker down for a month if need be. We have a bidet so runing out of toilet paper is no big deal, got plenty of bleach for the bidet towels. Got 20 live chickens for eggs and meat and two adult turkeys. Over stocked on seed, working on garden this weekend, live tomato plants too. Freezer full of precooked vacuum sealed BBQ and more. Stocked up on medicines, cough syrups, fever relivers, nsaids for inflamation and hepe filters for the central air and for my cool mist bedroom filter. With a dry cough that comes with this flu you will need a high humid clean air bedroom to sleep in. Just 2 of us here, got an oxygen generator too, so were good. Didn't see anyone in masks at the store. Going out to buy feed for the hens and dog tomorrow, after that the only one going out will be husband to work in his m95 masked required job. Forgot my 2 hair dye though, bother. |

Quoting: Tyrone Slothrop Dollar Tree. Everyone forgets about them. There's lots of stuff at the dollar tree. One of the ones I was at yesterday day had hundreds of bottles of hand sanitizer on the shelf and cases stacked on the floor. |

She works at a store in the Ozarks, and was telling me that a lot of her customers are stocking up so they don't have to go into town for a while. But then again that's pretty typical too when it can take you an hour or so just to go a Dollar General, and that's the big store. Come on and take a free ride. |
