Next Monday (not tomorrow) will be eighteen weeks since I started it.

I started it after we had reached the first one hundred cases in the US.

Of the first 100 cases, we had six deaths.

That is a six percent case mortality rate.

Things have not changed all that much since then.

We have about a five percent case mortality rate today with over 2.6 million cases.

Update: U.S. infections surged nearly 50 percent in June- Washington Post

One congressman here in Chile had a mild case, got given a release, 30 days later is very ill and diagnosed Covid-19 positive again. He now is advocating for caution with the idea of herd immunity.
