I understand your point, but an airplane is sealed air tight and even though the air in the cabin is being circulated it is still a hermetically sealed, confined space wherein everyone is breathing everyone elses nitrogen. -- That's why, generally speaking, folks are discouraged from flying even when slightly sick.

They've recommended the elderly and the immunocompromised stay home and avoid large gatherings already. They advised them and all Americans not to take cruise ships to travel right now.

Elderly still have a choice to make for themselves, it's called free will and living in a free country.

My elderly aunt just flew to see her family despite the risks because that is more important to her at her age than waiting at home to die of something else. Elderly people are not stupid like this thread is.

The grocery store may be located in an area where the virus hasn't been circulating. On a plane, there's a much greater chance that someone who's been on that plane has been exposed to the virus.
