They said wait a week or so before you judge the curve. They specifically said this and explained yet here we are with OMG we are doom so Italy non sense. If you search for my posts you'll see I've been saying the numbers have been waaaaaay higher for ages now. It's just tests are so slow, so few, innacurate...and only used on the most seriously ill (people MORE likely to die). Dumping so many with just similar symptoms as COVID19 isn't helping any. Think how much less of a burden on the health system if "maybe COVID19...but not" weren't just chucked around. How many died that didn't have to beause of that? That fucks with the death infection ratio, especially since there's no way to truly add in all those "had it, quit, bought the t-shirt, barely had a sniffle" people. It's been around for months. True tests would probably show tens/hundreds of thousands with it or had it and beat it. If it's been around since late November/December China last year MINIMUM do you REALLY think it just got here...? I honestly believe the true numbers will never be released for obvious reasons. The quarantine is NOT designed to stop it, just to slow its progression so the medical system isn't overloaded at once resulting in uneccessary deaths. |
