Texas... Any Word if TX will get locked down

Probably Monday but it may start with individual mayors and the larger cities.

Yep, moving that way with Dallas county Shelter in place and them calling for all of North Texas to do it.

Gov Abbott has a press conference a couple of hours ago. He said there are over 200 counties with no cases of the virus and it does not make sense to shut down the entire state and that the mayors have the full authority and backing of the state to take measures they deem appropriate.

“Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins issued a "shelter-in-place" order at a press conference Sunday.

Not sure on lock down, but I do know that the police in at least one northeastern county of Texas have been ordered to not arrest people for non violet crimes or small robberies. It hasn't been announced, and probably shouldn't, but I heard it straight from a friend of mine who has been a cop here for years, and he is no bullshitter.

Dallas County has been issued shelter in place. Dallas PD has already stated they are not responding to low level crime like theft, vandalism, etc.

The liberal dummies in houston voted out Judge Ed Emmett last year, and replaced him with a woman who had never even been a judge before, and are gonna pay high price for it it seems, as I bet he would have already put houston on a lock down a week ago when it could have helped.

I lived down on the SE side of Houston for about a year and yeah, the SMELL. "Stinkadena", the chemical plant explosions and noise and crowding... Ugh. Never again. Now I'm in a "town" with barely over a thousand people
