a majority of that isnt being wasted now that business are closed. Im not saying americans themselves in our homes dont throw food out, but most of that is because of standards.
Quoting: cranberryapple OK, everyone throws out spoiled food, no worries. But dont buy so much and store it better. The point is, there is absolutely no genuine shortage. People are hoarding. I finished my preps weeks ago and have not used them. We are using what we can get now. I think people started mass "prepping" a week ago. They are hoarding because they do not know how to prep. They don't know when to stop when they have enough.
