I hammered McConnell's twitter about this. I'm not the only one. It's backwards. Those with the least should receive the most, and that includes seniors on SocSec. They are less able to keep pantries stocked up, more likely to not have much of anything in the frig, and even less likely to have anything in a freezer. It is much harder for them to go out and buy preps.

To think that there would a payment for each child of $500, yet lower income adults would only receive $600 is an outrage. Maybe $100 per child, $200 would be extremely generous.

They should keep in mind that the people they are shortchanging here do vote. Those children don't.
