Why did you not shut down Oregon in 2017-2018 when CDC reported 45 Million infected & 61,000 deaths (Flu A, Flu B, Coronavirus 17, Coronavirus 18, etc) ??? In late January I was in Oregon working and I saw a Chinese lady with a little daughter. I'm low level intermediate in chinese so I try to chat as often as I could. I just thought it was odd seeing a chinese that spoke no english in small town Oregon at a random motel. My vocab isnt that great to ask why are you here. But I did get that she was from beijing. I think she got out before china shut down. Also I didn't get close to them . Just struck me as odd

I live in the central Oregon area and they will not go home unless it is paid time off. every worker around in the construction industry said nope we are staying until it is mandatory every one.

Eastern WA here, and I have been anticipating further restrictions from Inslee. But one thing to remember to keep panic down, is that every "shelter in place" order that I have read (about 5), still allows people to go out to the store for food and medicine. No one is going to have to starve to death at home. And if the panic buying would just stop, there is plenty of food and toilet paper in the supply line to meet normal needs. I live in an agricultural area, and the farmers around here are working hard getting ready for Spring planting. Thanks to farmers more food is on the way.

I live in Albany. We had people in the apartment building two blocks away begging for supplies on Nextdoor last Monday already.

"Me my fiance and room mate as well as 3 cats are in need of toilet paper cat litter and hamburger canned beans and fruit as well as boxed pastas and rice roni thank you the first people who responeded should be enough ignore if sick thank u"

Crazy thing is people jumped up to help them immediately.
