Is this a mild flu season?
Even combined with covid-19 is this a moderate flu season? I don’t care about graphs but the total results.

Wait a few months and then we'll talk.

Re: Is this a mild flu season?
record child deaths this flu season.

More children have died than any other flu season on record.

I’m surprised it is not bigger news.

I can wait but as it gets warmer I would think the heat would kill it.

As I understand it, warm weather does not reduce the symptoms or the likelihood of catching it.

Re: Is this a mild flu season?
according to this the U.S. averages between 27 thousand and 55 thousand flu deaths every year

with the lowest flu death year in the past 10 years being 2011 (approx. 12 thousand deaths)

[link to www.cdc.gov (secure)]

and it looks like the current pace is about 70 thousand for 2020 (according to the current pace)

so thats higher then normal

Re: Is this a mild flu season?
We had the flu end of January. It was very mild for my family. Strangely mild, easier on the kids than adults. Fatigue was the worst part.

Supposedly the flu this year was a severe flu.

I don’t know......
