Carthage fell to Rome in the second century. They were child sacrificers and worshipped Molech. I hear that Rome took on their pagan gods at the time and disguised them. This is why Hannibal did not sack Rome after "winning" the Battle of Cannae. There was no Cannae battle. Once Rome's expansion was sufficient for empire, Carthage was allowed to fall in the Punic Wars. Which weren't wars, but a controlled demolition of an obsolete subsidiary. Once the Roman Empire itself had been thoroughly looted over the next few centuries, their northern border was opened to the Goths. This was the start of the controlled demolition of the Empire itself. There's no reason to keep ruling over people once you've taken absolutely everything away from them. Check out a map of the extent of Roman expansion. They were never able to conquer Germania. This is why Germany took it in the teeth during WWI and WWII, and are still paying for it now. The same Phoenician bloodlines run the world today. |
