A friend of mine died from the flu.

3 years ago, there was a heavy bout of the flue happening, and many threads on here about people being fine, then having symptoms of flu (feverish, tired, weak) and within 3 or four days, dying.
That happened to a friend of mine at that time, I hadn't talked or seen him for a while, but his ex girlfriend contacted me to let me know that on Friday he felt feverish and coughing, taken to hospital on Saturday because of high temp mad shivers, Sunday, died, heart stopped.
The dude was a black brother, about 53, slim/ muscular build, and a solid dude in okay health.
Just posting this thread to remind some that the flu kills people every year.
