Just because there’s only 3,100 deaths now doesn’t mean there won’t be 300,000 in a month. The world went from 3,117 on Mar 1 to 37,788 on Mar 30 and it keeps increasing exponentially. It won’t be 60,000 on April 30 it will be 300,000.

So what do you do? Let 10 million Americans die or crash the economy in such a way that it will never come back. I’m talking 40% unemployment, 1930s style breadlines, societal unrest.

Just let nature take it's course. This isn't up to GLP, this up to all Americans. Right now they're trusting what they've been told, that there is indeed a virus. They don't mind staying home for a few weeks if it will make any difference. But people are not going to starve to death to avoid death by a virus. That would make no sense at all.

I figure when people start to see their children, family, friends and neighbors suffering, and they can't pay their bills or put food on the table, that will spark people's anger. My guess is that will put a stop to all this.

I don't think anything is going to "break" with the populace. They are getting compensated plenty with unemployment for the next few months. As long as their is power, water and food, people will be ok.

This "stay at home" is to prevent an overwhelming of the hospitals and give the government and manufacturers the time to find therapies, make PPE's, and find a vaccine so things can go back to normal.

Once the numbers start going down, everyone will have to have N95's to return to work or we will see spikes again. Travel will have to be suspended internationally or things will spike again. Those 5 min "tests" will be crucial in keeping infected passengers out of our country. Or travel will just have to shut down.

That's what I see in the near future. If those measures aren't taken, we are spinning our wheels.

The flu is spread out over a year. This one plays out in a few months because it is like 10x more contagious than the flu and then keeps returning until it has a vaccine.
