Listen, I live in a major southern city and we have a statewide order, and all I hear are motorcycles and people in cars revving their engines, testing the law. The energy is different tonight. I'm telling you right now, things are going to literally change overnight. The numbers are not adding up here. 80K dead from a previous flu season in the US and we're currently under 10K deaths from COVID. COVID death count could triple here in the states and we still won't reach HALF the number of deaths from a previous flu season.

The next 7 days are going to be interesting and the pivotal moment for America. SEVEN DAYS. I predict that we'll either massive protests or massive martial law. I'm extremely concerned that if we're not careful things will begin to violently spiral into chaos. We need to reach out to lawmakers in order to prevent this from going terribly sideways. Surely there's a peaceful way. We're very literally losing this country by the minute..

No, I know too many people who are sick with COVID - this isn’t some hoax. This is politicians not knowing WTF to do. Again, people don’t understand what “exponential” means. Just because there’s only 3,100 deaths now doesn’t mean there won’t be 300,000 in a month. The world went from 3,117 on Mar 1 to 37,788 on Mar 30 and it keeps increasing exponentially. It won’t be 60,000 on April 30 it will be 300,000.

So what do you do? Let 10 million Americans die or crash the economy in such a way that it will never come back. I’m talking 40% unemployment, 1930s style breadlines, societal unrest.

I’m glad that I don’t have to make the decision. Even if you pick the 10 million dead Americans, that’s no guarantee that the economy survives.

So wait,is the thought that multiple countries are making this up and drs and healthcare workers are going along with it? I know the healthcare workers wouldnt play, I worked in a hospital and most drs egos would never go along with a game. Thing is with this, you dont see it affecting your area until its exploding. It seems like people are going back to normal on their own. Day by day more people are out and about going after their existence source and finding ways around this bullshit. There has always been an undercurrent workforce. The IRS knows it. You can regulate all you want but if the people rise up and go back to life, no political correctness shunning will stop them. Move and work to live. Sit still and others will go after the nut youre missing out on. Too many people need to work to live so it will correct itself.

While I fully understand your meaning and why, all I'm seeing locally are people being very cool and seeming to somewhat enjoy it. I'm in the older part of Raleigh beside a college and a University so their decline has really chilled things out..........We be Chilling!

The flu is spread out over a year. This one plays out in a few months because it is like 10x more contagious than the flu and then keeps returning until it has a vaccine.

How many people in the service industry who lost their jobs also lost their insurance? How are they going to pay for hospital care for covid if they need it? Did all these closures intentionally benefit the insurance industry? My son was working for a huge food service corp that services sports arenas and more. EVERYONE DISMISSED-no severance pay, no insurance, just corporate silence.

Looks the same here, Were under quarantine but people are out planting their flower beds, fixing their fences. Kids are riding their bikes. People are lining up at the fast food drive thrus. Lots of people walking around, walking their dogs.
