The numbers are still rising--not falling. Quoting: Billy Ringo The following link has been quite accurate since I found it a few weeks ago. Click on the link, turn off total cases and look at the graph for New Cases only, the numbers are still rising. Do the same for virtually any state--the numbers are still rising. (You can turn off Total Cases by simply clicking on those words within the box on the graph.) New Cases are still growing in number--not declining. Deaths follow New Cases by a couple of weeks--they won't start going down until the New Cases start falling off. We saw what happened in New York when people didn't quarantine---when they went about their business like nothing was going on. Their numbers, along with adjoining New Jersey, are significantly higher than virtually any other states--by a factor of 10+ in many cases. This quarantine shit is a bitch---but if we open up too soon it will get WAY worse. In my opinion, we aren't dealing with just the flue or a common virus--this thing is a weaponized virus that was built and groomed to kill. It is not business as usual. And if we don't continue to lock down, it will get worse. So of course more new cases are going to be identified. What people need to pay attention to is number of deaths, and that number is leveling off. Also, all of these draconian measures are straight up unconstitutional and should make any real American angry. The first amendment is flat out being violated when people cannot even practice their religion in this country---minyans are now illegal throughout the country which makes practicing my religion impossible. |
