Well, since Canada and the US are pretty much the world’s bread baskets and have abundant water and electric power, both countries will be able to ride out any global famines without much difficulty.

there is a consolidation in the midwest (where I live, in the heart of farm country) and in the food supply in general.

these people are not interested in America, or your pantry, or mine. they are interested in profit. oh sure there are plenty of independent fourth and fifth generation farmers - and they are barely hanging on, they are leveraged to the hilt and are being pushed out one at a time.

look at the dairy farm bankruptcies in wisconsin. they are happening every single day.

what will remain are the enormous corporations that only care about MONEY. they are not loyal to America or Americans - they are global, trans national corporations that would be just giddy over watching any competition crushed and sole control over the food supply.

less than 2% of the population are farmers or even have a clue how to grow or hunt for food, and all the processing in between. this entire nation is set up for famine, and it is absolutely coming. they play with a few variables and the whole house of cards comes down.

the soil is chemically addicted, and the ag machines are all complex and require a steady diet of fuel, parts, and labor. all of those require things to go smoothly and efficiently to produce at a profitable yield. disruptions in fuel, in readily available, complex parts probably sourced from overseas, means we are absolutely vulnerable to more and more failures that results in famine.

don't kid yourself - food is the weapon of the state, they WILL ensure that supply is diminished, and tightly controlled with strings attached to get the masses to fall in line.

Yes FEMA has already been sitting on piles of caskets for a while. Good thing they have those, because fat people burn for days, so way more efficient to dismember them, stuff them in a box and put them under the ground.
