I like this post, though I would disagree about the bible being deception. It's a history book. The old testament is the history of the tribes and their culture, religious beliefs, prophesies and so on. The new testament documents the life and teachings of Jesus, along with historical accounts from his apostles along with more prophesy. It's a great compilation of ancient texts but, certainly highly selective as to what was allowed in by the Council of Nicea.
