Mr Jennings told Sky News host Peter Gleeson the recent trade tensions between the two countries can be seen as a "shot across the bows" from China at Australia. On Wednesday, Foreign Minister Marise Payne played down suggestions Australia is on the brink of a trade war after China suspended imports from four abattoirs. The decision raised concerns of a trade stoush between the two nations over Australia's push for an independent inquiry into the origins of COVID-19. The suspension came just days after China announced it would level tariffs on Australian barely produces amid an anti-dumping investigation. Mr Jennings also said the communist regime has now sent "a warning to Australia not to embarrass China" in an upcoming World Health Assembly meeting. "The longer term problem is we will constantly come up against these types of challenges of dealing with a much more aggressive one party state in Beijing," Professor Jennings said. China on Monday threatened to place a close to 80 per cent tariff on Australian barley exports, under the guise of an 'anti-dumping probe,' giving the Australian government less than two weeks to resolve the issue. The communist country has now chosen to suspend imports from four separate Australia abattoirs, one of which is Chinese owned. He said there will a number of people in business, politics, and acadaemia who will claim Australia needs to “moderate this discussion with China” and massage the relationship. “Well they lined up around the block today, these are the sell outs”. Mr Murray pointed to the Queensland and WA Premiers as well as the Victorian treasurer who “think the dollar is more important than the principle”. “This is frightening how compromised our leaders are”. A recent article has stated the CIA believes China tried to stop the World Health Organisation from sounding the alarm on the pandemic. The intention of that, according to the article, was to allow China time to buy up medical supplies before the rest of the world. Moderatefunnyhello |

We can all make new trade deals good for everyone once we get the cancer of China out of everything. The free world has to back eachother up and stick together against these communist scums. Every deal with China is a bad deal. Economic activity is not a good thing when China is involved. We are all much better off in the long run if we cut out China now. It is time to face the music that we all made a mistake allowing China to participate with the free world in trade. Now we all need to step up and do what it takes to get rid of them. Tolerance of China and communist behaviors has to erode quickly. They are the enemy of the whole world and the whole world is under attack by them right now. We have to fight back. Every free nation there is should quickly make it illegal for any raw materials or food to be sent to communist China from their countries. Everything we have allowed them to have has been used against us. Everything we allow them to have from here will also be used against us. We gotta cut these commies off. |

Liberal senators have taken aim at China’s handling of the coronavirus and pushed the government to not allow itself to be coerced by China. Tensions have risen after China threatened economic sanctions on Australia if the government did not drop its push for a probe into the origins of the virus, threatening to impose significant tariffs on Australian barley exports and blacklisting four Australian abattoirs. Trade Minister Simon Birmingham said he was not yet able to secure a meeting with his Chinese counterpart to discuss the situation. Ms Payne stated the move to suspend Australian exports to China was not a political matter, as the issue of the coronavirus remained separate from trade relations. Moderatefunnyhello |

The communist country has now chosen to suspend imports from four separate Australia abattoirs, one of which is Chinese owned. Mr Joyce said Australia cannot quit its current line pushing for a global inquiry because if you step down to someone who’s “bullying you, then get read to be pushed all around the playground”. He told Sky News host Paul Murray in reality China “doesn’t really care what happens in Australia” because in its mind Australia is “irrelevant; we’re three-fifths of five-eights of nothing”. “We have to make sure that we don’t dance closely with elephants because the elephants will squash us”.
