A knife attack certainly is meant to kill them.

The only defense against knife attacks is to watch what the fuck you are doing and be aware of where the hell you are doing it.
The statistics indicate if you are where you are supposed to be and minding your own god damned business, you'll spot the nutty bar shank bearer coming from a mile away and have the good sense to either exit the situation as you aint supposed to be there no more or eliminate the threat from afar. Your call seeing as you supposed to be there and minding your own god damned business. Without strict adherence to the afore mentioned, a fool is not only possibly gonna get stuck, its a near certainty.

Big jogger tried to carve me up. Got him with the Chevy. His eyes went big as saucers just before he learned to fly.

Even against a gun. If the knife is within 21 feet and determined; he can attack, follow through and kill you before he loses consciousness from your shot.. You have to recognize the threat; draw; decide to shoot; by rthen he's within arms reach(See the "Tueller drill") .

Those are great technical skills. But....what if you don't have years of training? You're dead! Here's something simple but yet very effective.

Now this is why you better keep your distance from a knife attack unless you've been trained.....

Same here. Best thing to do if you can’t run away, wrap your jacket around your lower arm and use it to block or push the knife out of the way. Then, use the heel of your hand to Thrust up and break his nose. Then, run!

Watch the video I posted. If cops don't have time to react within 21feet, then you don't either unless you have been trained.
