If you had actually watched the video, you would have seen that he just tripped over the curb. Which is understandable, I mean, his motion is constrained by his handlers and he's in handcuffs.

then throw it in his face and let him sit there for a while

THIS is the truth...

I guess you missed the part where the police chief stated the knee should never have been on the neck, it’s not protocol or taught that way. The knee should have been on the top of the back, just below the neck area.

The chief also stated that once he was handcuffed, the suspect should have been sat on the ground in a sitting position. The exaggerated time of the knee on the neck is involuntary manslaughter, thus, the reason the officer was fired. The other three officers were accessories to the fact and did not stop the criminal act, so they were fired.

A hefty lawsuit is coming.
