None of those facts matter at all, the video is all that people need to see.
He could have done that to a dead body, and it was still wrong.

I can't speak for other agencies, so I don't know specifically what types of tactics are taught in those respective agencies. However, I can tell you that once a subject/suspect is arrested and placed in handcuffs.....at that time the well-being of that arrested person is the sole responsibility of the arresting agency (to include the arresting officer(s) on scene ).

There is training in that restraint position, but it's to be deployed in only one circumstance, if the officer is in immediate peril/ in danger of losing his/her life.

Was the guy fighting and resisting arrest? Cops are trained to subdue a man by applying pressure to his neck? I am not into MMA but I have watched enough to know what a choke hold is and to know what it can do. Only an idiot would not know the danger of pinning a man to the ground by applying pressure to the neck for 9 minutes.

Anyway, I don't know all the facts. Was he cuffed while on the ground? If not then why not? If so,then why was the cop putting pressure on his neck? The other thing I am not clear on is where did he die? I read somewhere that it was an hour later? What is the cause of death?

The other rumor is that he and the cop worked at the same place doing security. Don't you have to pass a background check to work security? All I am saying is that, generally, security people are not professional criminals.

The other thing is that the cops were called because he passed a counterfeit $20 bill at a store? Personally, I do not check my money to see if it is counterfeit. If he passed one, maybe he do not know it was counterfeit? Why arrest him? Why not get his ID, let him go home, and check the facts before an arrest? Passing counterfeit money is not presenting any physical harm to anyone. I have been places that check the bill before they accept it with that pen thing. That leaves me with some questions as well. Did the store clerk check the bill after accepting the money or before? I want more info on that scenario.

Anyway, everyone knows the blacks are real sensitive that they are discriminated against by the cops. Many facts show that they have a reason to believe this. Something needs to be done about both sides of this equation. Our churches, the black leaders, and our law enforcement need to better address the stituation.

A lot of cops have an attitude. A lot of blacks have an attitude. It doesn't do any good to argue with the cops. All I can say is, keep your mouth shut and ask for a lawyer.
