Praying for you Tiger and your family.
I didn’t come on this thread yesterday afternoon or evening as I usually do and this morning only on a little while on virus thread ...had so much to do today so just saw this..I was praying for you and Roy last night.... I believe he made the right decisions and is at peace.

I am sorry for your loss and I pray for you and your family to find comfort during this time...again my deepest condolences...

I am grateful for your witness and sharing your story..

Prayers and hugs for all.

There was a private 1 hour wake for Roy, just for me and my daughters this afternoon. It was our last chance to truly look at him, and say goodbye.
I am having a very rough time, and expect to be a total basket case tomorrow.

We knew Roy had limited time, but it didn't make it any easier.

This is going to be a rough day.My youngest daughter's friends will be picking up the hot food for the meal afterwards, and will stay here and help out.

Some people from my church will be going to the funeral, but some of them will be staying in their cars because of the covid.

The covid has been the least of my worries these past few months.

The passages below could be understood as Joshua was with Moses in the mount for forty days also, perhaps as scribe?
[Most might say he waited a little lower while Moses went up higher...] anyway love to you and yours, amen.

Exodus 24

Your prayers have been appreciated. I am moving outside to work from a backyard table as my Mrs. makes more chainmail vs. inside where I have been for months.

She says I am "fishbelly white' so I will try to fix that in the sun before we have thunderstorms again today. I still fall screaming in pain when I try to stand, hopefully the anti inflammatory I took will help today.

Praying for you to feel better...enjoy the sweet Virginia breeze..as I remember from birth, growing up until I was in my 20s (90s) the end of June thru mid July were the times for our road trips with my daughter and we always spent time in Tidewater...I had some cousins and an uncle in Richmond, also Crewe, most are gone now...hopefully there are still some lightning bugs around this time of year to enjoy...

Hope you are taking some vitamin d and vitamin c.. and if available, something for the pain...sometimes the body benefits from them as it can rest and heal without the pain stress

Praying for all here, been thinking of Tiger and praying for her all day.

Please keep my husband in prayers...idk if he caught the virus or not, he is vulnerable to pneumonia in normal times and this week so far very difficult...I had to go to the VA hospital for his meds including an antibiotic and Blood pressure has been all over the place...why I have been up and awake at all hours since Sunday night...the house is a wreck from me pulling stuff out as needed for him and daughter who left yesterday to go back to central Florida for a week or so...the cat is eating some now but I have to give her IV fluids once a day...I have been taking lots of pictures of her and hubby together...he coaxed her to eat and the two of them are nearly inseparable....

I woke up last night with the song Will the circle be unbroken like playing in my mind..Idk if it was something on tv because hubby will turn on tv and press it changing the channels in his sleep sometimes...but that’s when I posted last night at 2am..I was going to put that on that post but I had to help him go to the bathroom and so writing it now....

The pictures on this are so similar to photos of my family...my mother, aunts and cousins...North Carolina and Virginia people...I cried looking at this video because nearly all of my family’s “in the sky,” and it’s hard, but remember this...Roy and others *still exist* and we have the good memories to focus on and those not so good ask the Lord to forgive them and us...

Ephesians 4:32...be ye kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as Christ has forgiven you.” That was a little ditty we sang on the church bus and vacation bible school I never forgot..
I have an autoharp in my closet and I am going to get it out and strum it when I can...


I am so sorry for Tiger’s and DMJ’s losses and for me, Jesus took the wheel this week and has been doing the driving today...the Bible verse about Mary and Martha and Mary took the better part by listening to Jesus applies to me today as I try to summon the energy to clean when all I want to do is read book of John and Psalms...but I will get back to it soon...

Tiger we all share your grief and pray for healing for you and your family...

There is a turtle dove hanging around my plum tree. Never saw one here before.

We had a crowd at the grave site service, and I had a full house afterwards for the food.Roy's son drove from Fort Wayne, but his daughters never showed up, and one was expected to be there for sure.

My daughters and their friends supplied food and flowers. They set up, and they cleaned up the house after everyone else left.I had to do nothing but sit with my friend Anna, and go through 2 bottles of very good wine with her. I am not a drinker, my friends, but I really needed this. I hope to sleep good tonight.

Tomorrow morning I have to drop off my car for an air conditioner recharge, brakes, and to check the suspension.I will have to catch up on the karma, email, and messages tomorrow.

The local paper covered Roy's funeral.We had about 3 dozen people there, altogether. Here is the link:
